Jeg er formentlig traumatiseret af for mange timers lytning til Giro 413, der i min barndom – tilbage i DRs monopoltider – kørte som baggrundsstøj på min fars altid tændte radioer. Der stod en radio i næsten alle rum i vores hus, og det var derfor svært at komme uden om lykønskninger, bidrag samlet ind i Onkel Torstens gamle sutsko og alt det der, der uafvendeligt førte til et musikønske.
Én ting var de gamle revyviser og mere eller mindre dybtfølte kærlighedssange. Det kunne jeg godt klare, men når Jodle Birge kom på grammofonen, vendte alt sig i mit indre. Jeg ved godt, han sikkert var en flink fyr, og at han har øget livskvaliteten på mangt et plejehjem, men jeg bliver stadig hylet ud ved tanken om hans jodlen og alt associeret med jodlen i det hele taget – herunder ordet ”Tyrol”.
Et oplagt valg som receptionsvin
Så da hvidvinen Tramin T fra Sydtyrol pludselig stod foran mig, måtte jeg virkelig anstrenge mig for at skubbe associationsrækken af lederhosen og kvinder i platte kostumer og lange fletninger ledsaget af Jodle Birges evigglade og utrættelige jodlen af vejen.
Heldigvis forsvandt mine traumer som dug for solen, for her var en virkelig veldrejet hvidvin med en flot farve i glasset, en indbydende aroma af pærer, æbler og kvæder og en god fylde i munden. Vinen er lavet på fire druer, som jeg holder af hver for sig, og som nu gjorde fælles front i denne charmerende vin: Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc og Chardonnay. Smagen bar præg af god frugt, god syre og god balance. Og heldigvis kaldes den italienske del af Tyrol også for Alto Adige, og jeg slettede T for tyroler-traume og skrev i stedet T for tiltalende, tilbagelænet og top nudge til prisen. Jeg drak et glas derhjemme, men kunne ikke lade være med at tænke, at sådan en vin kunne piske en dejlig stemning op til en reception, hvor man eller tit ender med et glas sur og kedelig vin købt ind uden omtanke.
