Den mousserende andenviolin? Nix!

For nogle vil cava, spumante og crémant altid være andenviolin i forhold til champagnen. Sådan har jeg det ikke. For mig er champagnen bestemt noget helt særligt. Jeg holder ikke per automatik af champagne, men jeg synes, den kan noget med at sætte en stemning og sætte barren for stemningen højt – og derfor holder jeg af champagnen! Den drysser glimmer på livets Kodak moments – og det skal man ikke kimse ad.

Hvis du er ligeglad med champagne og bare vil have noget dejlig mousserende vin i glasset, er der heldigvis masser af boblende vin at finde uden for det berømte Champagne-distrikt. Og det koster en brøkdel. Jeg har valgt at rette fokus på tre store områder, hvad angår bobler. Der laves mousserende vine mange andre steder, men dem tager vi en anden gang. Nu gælder det:

  1. Frankrig (uden for Champagne-distriktet)
  2. Spanien
  3. Italien

Kvindevin tager dig på en guidet tur i en stor bue uden om de dyre champagner. På jagt efter andre gode bobler til max 100 kr. pr. flaske.

 

First stop: Bourgogne

Vi er stadig i Frankrig, men på en billigere adresse – i hvert fald hvad mousserende vin angår (ikke hvis vi snakker rød- og hvidvine). Både i Bordeaux, Alsace, Die, Limoux og her i Bourgogne – for bare at nævne nogle af stederne – laves der fremragende mousserende vin, der fremstilles på samme måde som champagnen (det er en lang teknisk forklaring, du kan google dig til). Crémant de Bourgogne fra La Maison du Crémant er lavet af (champagnedruerne) Pinot Noir og Chardonnay, og den er meget mineralsk, tør og sprød. Den har en dejlig duft af grønne æbler og den der umiskendelige brødduft, som du måske også kender fra champagne. God balanceret og behagelig syre. Den har en lyserød søster, der også er værd at stifte bekendskab med, og Irma har ofte crémanterne her på tilbud parvis, så du kan prøve én af hver. Genial til østers, hvis du er til den slags. Men også god til charcuteri og lyst kød. Jeg synes, den kræver noget mad – den er svagere alene. Samlet vurdering af østers og crémanten her giver 5 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Køb den i din lokale Irma eller få den bragt til døren via COOPs hjemmeside.

 

Next stop: Catalonien

Du er ankommet til det nordlige Spanien, i Penedès i Catalonien. Her fremstilles buler af mousserende vin, som – indtil nogen blev sure over det – blev kaldt for champaña. Nu hedder det cava, men det ændrer ikke ved, at man kan finde meget dejlig vin her til rigtigt fornuftige penge.

Segura Viudas Cava Brut Reserva er sådan én. Fyldig og substantiel med sine tydelige bobler, tør og frisk med en dejlig duft af nødder og æbler. Jeg klapper i mine små hænder over, der kan laves så dejlig vin, og at den kan tage sin 2000 km lange rejse og alligevel lande i min indkøbskurv for bare 99 kr. Jeg giver den 5 hjerter ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Du kan købe cavaen hos Wine.dk, der som oftest bringer vinen dagen efter.

Prøv cavaen til tapas, fordi de to ligesom bare udgør et stensikkert catalansk makkerpar, der ikke er grund til at skille ad. I virkeligheden kunne jeg drikke en vin som denne til det meste af et måltid uden at savne noget (måske ikke lige den dag, den står på store bøffer og rødvinssauce, hvis jeg skal tage et forbehold over for denne vin).

 

Finally: Emilia-Romagna

Der laves meget mousserende vin i Italien, og ord som ”frizzante”, ”spumante” og ”prosecco” popper op i ens hoved, mens man hælder boblerne ned. Prosecco er både navnet på en grøn drue, men er også blevet betegnelsen for den mousserende vin, man laver af den. Spumante svarer til ’mousserende’, og frizzante betyder noget i retningen af ’livlig’. Mange kommer uvilkårligt til at tænke på lambruscoen, som mangt en ungdomsklub-gæst har drukket i lige lovligt rigelige mængder – vel at mærke i den rigtig tarvelige version. Den har ikke meget at gøre med den vin, man finder i Emilia-Romagna hos de dygtige producenter i dag. Og apropos Emilia-Romagna … lige uden for byen Imola har jeg fundet en producent, der laver den mest forførende frizzante-vin på en lokal drue ved navn Pignoletto. Dens bobler er meget fine – måske mere som skum eller mousse i modsætning til en champagnes tydelige bobler. Den har en mild og blid duft af pærer, og den frugtighed, der møder én så venligt i næsen, fortsætter i munden. Den er elegant, frisk, let som en fjer og på top tre over de glas vin, der har gjort mig gladest i løbet af året. Den er en god følgesvend til lufttørret charcuteri og tørre oste, men du kan også bare lade den give et solonummer, for den behøver ikke noget at spille op imod. Den kan selv – og den er bestemt ingen andenviolin! Jeg giver den 6 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. 

En sending Pignoletto ”Elegans” fra Zuffa koster 31 euros i forsendelsesgebyr, og du kan bestille online her. Selve vinen koster 11 euros, så hvis du køber 12 flasker, er vi jo over de dér hundrede kroner, jeg havde som ideal. Men de sender op til 48 flasker for det gebyr, og så ryger flaskeprisen jo ned under grænsen …
