Vin til påsken – kap. 1

Påsken står og blinker i din kalender, og de fleste har nok en frokostaftale eller to på programmet. Faktisk er jeg stor fan af snaps, hvis der bliver kørt en traditionel påskefrokost i stilling, men man kan kan altså også sagtens drikke vin, hvis man vil!

Her er et par generelle råd at gå ud fra …

Har din mor sat røget laks, rejer med hjemmerørt mayo og sild med rødløg og alt det der på bordet? Og kommer hun ind med et prangende fad fulgt af lækre oste efterfølgende? Så skal du have en vin med noget kapow! Ud fra princippet fedme møder fedme vil jeg anbefale en oversøisk Chardonnay, der har ligget på fad. Normalt er jeg ikke den store fad-fan, men til denne type mad her virker det bare, og der skal simpelthen noget mere til end de små, tynde vine, jeg ellers bevæger mig rundt i rent smagsmæssigt. Den cremede fylde sådan en vin kan lægge for dagen, virker bare rigtig godt sammen med det runde, fede og bløde smagsunivers, den møder i maden.

Her et par konkrete flasker, du kunne prøve …

Skal du give den virkelig gas på smagstangenterne, kan du hoppe ud i en flaske Buttery Blanc fra Kenn Husted. En rigtig oversøisk bombe, men inden du tænker “nej tak”, så husk, at maden jo også er lidt af en bombe. Navnet siger det selv: Det er en smørfed californier skåret ud i pap. Og husk bare på, at sådan en højttalende amerikaner med solbleget hår og hvide tænder kan være svær at stå for, også selv om du er en sur minimalist fra det kolde Skandinavien. Giv ham en chance! Den koster 155 kr. flasken, men der er nærmest også smagsintensitet til to flasker i én, og så er det ikke så dyrt længere.

Du kan også springe ud i en uortodoks Chardonnay fra Sydfrankrig… Jeff Carrels Morillon Blanc er godt nok ikke spor oversøisk, men den smager derhendad, og den er lavet på Chardonnay ligesom Buttery Blanc og virkelig “rich”, som en amerikaner ville have udtrykt det. Jeg tænker vanilje, karamel, honning, appelsin, nødder, abrikos – alt sammen i én mundfuld af denne ret vilde vin, der virkelig ikke er nærig med noget. Den koster 110 kr. hos Erik Sørensen Vin (130 kr. ved køb af en enkelt).

    suppose you added a little information? I mean, I don’t want to tell you how
    to run your website, but suppose you added something that makes people want more?
    I mean Vin til påsken – kap. 1 – Kvindevin is kinda vanilla.
    You could glance at Yahoo’s front page and see how they create news
    titles to grab people interested. You might add a video or a picture or two
    to get people interested about what you’ve got to say.
    In my opinion, it would make your blog a little bit more interesting.
